Pay It Forward

What are we doing?

Pay it forward is about being generous to anyone and everyone we can get in contact with, during this campaign. When anyone receives an unexpected gift, it leaves people happy and in “awe”. We don’t know what people go through in a day. So, that $1 can speak volumes. With that $1 we will attach a Bible Scripture, so that people will know it’s GOD that gives. All we ask in return is for the person receiving it to pay it forward, when possible.

Why are we doing this?

This campaign is important in that it shows generosity and kindness. Not all people will need this $1 but they do need the message that comes with it, that generosity releases the Kingdom of GOD.

Who can do it?

People who believe in generosity. Those who believe being generous with a $1 and a message will bring help and mercy to the negativity about people. If you are 18 and older, you will be able to do this.

How can it be done?

Passing out $1 with the message of CHRIST is fun. Here are some simple ways to do so:

1.     Plan out how many people you would like to pass this $1 out too. It can be 10, 20, etc. Keep in mind that means having that money to do so.

2.     Make sure you print out the track, Scripture included, the size of the $1 or smaller and tape them together.

3.     Find out with the team lead when the group will be doing this campaign or if you’d like to do it individually that’s great too.

4.     Find a public open are, where there is a lot of people, and you are allowed to do this act. This must be done during the day for your safety and the safety of others.

5.     Have fun being generous.

Where can it be done?

This must be done in a public area where you are authorized to do so. The area must be well-lighted and well-populated. If you are told to stop, you must do so immediately.

When can it be done?

This campaign should only be done during the day for the safety of everyone. Check with your team lead to see when they will be doing this or if you’re doing it individually make sure you partner with someone for safety.
